Julie’s presentation is called Patient Voice in Real-Time Value-Based Health Care.

Julie delivered this keynote at the inaugural Value-Based Health Care conference ( http://www.ciccancer.com/vbhcconf ) held in Perth, Western Australia from 27-28 May 2021.

In 2013, Julie was treated for stage four throat cancer with 33 sessions of radiation therapy and weekly chemotherapy. Julie presented three positive examples of patients being given a voice so they can work in partnership with multidisciplinary clinical teams to improve their care in real-time.

This hybrid conference aimed to showcase and celebrate value-based healthcare innovation, initiatives, implementation, research, and training from all areas of the health care system.
